And Another One

Have you ever been in a minimalistic state of gratitude and joy, when out of nowhere another added blessing hits you, unexpectedly? Those are the moments that I live for. In those moments all you can say is, “And Another One”.

A quiet moment that arrives when you least expect it, folding itself into the ordinary and making everything feel a fraction lighter. It’s the call from someone who remembers you; the rain that cools a sweltering day; a small victory that wasn’t on any to-do list but changes the shape of your week.

and another one — a second surprise that layers on top of the first, turning a good day into something quietly remarkable. Maybe a message that reopens a closed door, a new idea that sparks momentum, or the relief of time to think. These tandem blessings compound: one softens the edges, the next brings clarity.

Jeremiah 29:11 says,

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

God has great plans for us that are far beyond our imagination. God’s blessings always compound. They never just get added, they get multiplied and compounded. All God asks is that we be grateful and maximize those blessing opportunities.

Lean into all the blessing moments. Name them, savor them, and let their combined presence shift your rhythm. When life hands you consecutive small mercies, they do more than brighten a moment — they remap possibility. Oh oh!!! There goes another one!!! Smile!!! It’s your season!!!
