Real or No Real!

What does your authenticity look like? How would God rate your authenticity? These are questions that we must embrace in order to live on the real. Our news and media are all too encompassed with tragedies that are motivated by the lack of authenticity. Our young people seem to be crying out for the real because there is such an absence of the real. We must be intentional about living out what we say. We must let the world see us exemplifying the nature of Christ, which is Love. The Bible calls us the salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13).

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men (Matthew 5:13).

It further asks the question, that if that salt has lost it’s saltiness how will the world be salted. If salt does not do the job of saltiness, it is really good for nothing. We must determine to be light and light up wherever we are planted. We must demonstrate God’s love, wisdom, grace, peace and joy. Our impact must be felt so that we can change our environment for good. When we refrain from being true representatives of God, we leave a void in the earth. When you hold back your unique gift and authenticity, you leave a world void of what God created you to place there. I hear too many people complaining about the state of our world. But, the sad thing is if you take an analysis, you will usually find that these people are either part of the problem, or do not offer any solution to the problem. This should never be the case.

Your business should be a solution. You family should be a solution. Your friendly gatherings should be a solution. You are the solution. Discover your purpose and there lies your solution. Let the world see God through you as you serve your solution. Allow God to show you, you! Then allow God to bless others through you. Be Real! Live out your purpose!
