Resistance Strong
You feel the pull: tasks that must be done, change that must happen, a future that insists on arriving. But something in the system pushes back—habit, fear, culture, power, scarcity. Resistance strong is not a declaration of defeat; it’s a diagnostic and a call to strategy.
Key truths
Resistance is energy. It signals where attention, resources, and alignment are missing.
Resistance often protects something—identity, comfort, status quo, short-term incentives—that will be lost if change proceeds.
Ignoring resistance amplifies it. Engaging it thoughtfully converts friction into forward motion.
The Resistance came to build you up into your purpose. We have the choice of determining what the view of the resistance will be. Always ask the question, “What is the lesson in this?’. David allowed the bear and the lion to build his fight and muscles (1 Samuel 17). His victory over the bear and the lion prepared him for the victory against Goliath.
Refuse to allow the resistance to motivate bitterness and anger. The resultant attitude must be gratitude for the muscles that were built during the resistance. The Resistance will always lead to our promotion, if we have the God-view. The Resistance will always lead to blessings and the ability to help others, if we have the God-view. The Resistance will always lead to our fulfillment and joy, if we have the God-view.
Remember: "Resistance strong" describes the current state, not the outcome. Resistance is manageable when approached as a system problem—diagnose clearly, design interventions that reduce loss and increase gain, and build momentum with small, visible wins. So my admonishment to you would be, to get over it and start winning. You are now Resistance Strong!!!
