Take A Second Look!
Have you ever been in a situation that required action that you could not seem to make? You just could not figure out the answer or the solution. You may have complained about the difficulty and retreated in frustration. Then after some-time of detoured alternatives, you got an inclination to re-visit the situation to see if there was something you may have missed. It was in that moment to clarity appeared and the plan unfolded into extreme creativity and productivity. Your greatest triumph demanded a second look.
I dare you to take a second look. Re-examine the work with fresh intent. Pause, step back, and inspect what you previously accepted. Identify assumptions you made, shortcuts taken, and areas you dismissed too quickly.
Ask three focused questions:
What did I miss the first time?
Where did I trade quality for speed or convenience?
Which objections or edge cases did I ignore?
Apply one concrete change: tighten a paragraph, rework a sentence, adjust a figure, or re-run a test. Compare the new version to the old and note a measurable improvement or remaining gap.
Repeat this process until each element survives scrutiny: clarity, accuracy, audience fit, and purpose. If progress stalls, get a different perspective — a colleague, user feedback, or a short break — then look at it again.
God demands our excellence, because He knows that He placed divine purpose and greatness in us. Life will “Life”. Obstacles will arise. But, in those moments we are not to faint and succumb to doubt and fear. We just need to take a second look, with the eyes of faith. Even more amazing is the discovery, that when we take a second look, we usually discover that it was more than we could have imagined or comprehended. God always has more for us than we could ever do for ourselves. Just take a second look!!!
