Accountability
Accountability is a cornerstone of effective leadership and sustainable business success. It entails accepting responsibility for actions, decisions, and outcomes, fostering a culture of transparency and trust within an organization. So, my question to the ones who seem to always have a blame factor is, “Where is the Accountability?”. It amazes me how we have become a society that has become desensitized to corruption and a lack of accountability. How did we get here? We must demand accountability from our friends, family and yes, even our leaders. I refuse to submit to any situation, organization or person in the absence of accountability. If you enter a situation or environment that is void of accountability, Run!!! The very Godhead is a tri-union of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Every system created by God was established with a standard of accountability. Good success cannot abound in the absence of accountability. Proverbs 24:6 says,
6 For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.
Who are your counselors? What Kind of counsel are they giving to you? Now, that we have established the need for counsel, we must ensure that the counsel we are receiving is good and sound. You cannot build a strong house on a poor foundation. Do the counsel check before you accept counsel. You must choose to be accountable only to people who are accountable to others. I will take it one step further and dare to say, that it is best to be accountable to people who are first accountable to God. A person who reveres God’s counsel can only have good success. God cannot fail. It is not is His nature to fail. He is the all-mighty, all-knowing God. Therefore if you get counsel from Him you are guaranteed great success.
So, as you embark on your journey to destination success, be intentional about being accountable to God and good counsel. Refuse to sabotage your success with ignorance and lack of transparency due to pride and ego. Create the environment of unstoppable success, because you recognize your need for accountability partners. Build to last!! Face your challenges and your successes with the same intense introspection and analysis. Obey God’s commands and walk with integrity and skillful hands. Be willing to listen and adhere to instruction and feedback. Be the leader that God wants you to be and build the legacy that God created you to build. No man is an island. We are always better together with God’s divine connections. Now go be Great!!!
