Mighty Man of Valor!
Valor is the embodiment of courage and bravery in the face of adversity. It is a quality that inspires individuals to confront fears, stand firm in their convictions, and act decisively when challenges arise. At its core, valor transcends mere physical bravery; it encompasses moral and emotional strength, compelling individuals to do what is right, even when the outcome is uncertain.
In the business realm, valor manifests in leaders who make tough decisions that may not be popular but are essential for the long-term growth and integrity of their organizations. These leaders understand that true valour lies in the willingness to embrace risk, challenge the status quo, and foster an environment where innovation can flourish.
In the world of Family, Valor manifests in Fathers. Mothers are also included. But, today we are here to focus on the mighty Men of Valor. It is amazing how God created the family with such intricate precision. Each person has their role and that helps to facilitate great growth and development. But, at the helm of it all is the Father. Many times we take it for granted when we have Godly Fathers who cover and protect us with intentionality. I have been graced with the privilege of an awesome man of valour that helped instill the fear of God in my siblings and I. Pointing us to God helped us maintain a resilience in the face of any circumstance. We are assured good success, when we obey God’s instructions and design.
Our society today is definitely impacted by the absence of fathers in many of our families. The balance that God created was with both the mother and the father. They represent strength and nurturing. When either one is missing from the equation the imbalance is glaringly obvious. Gideon was a man who viewed himself as weak and inadequate. But, God called him a mighty man of valor (Judges 6:12). God called the valor out of Gideon to propel him into the mighty warrior that would lead Israel to win the war that seemed impossible.
Fathers, God calls out the valor in you, so that you can lead your family with confidence and wisdom. If God calls out the valor in you, then so do we. We call out the greatness in you to lead your children in the ways of the Lord. We call out the wisdom in you to build generational wealth with your family. We call out the creativity in you to steer your children towards their God-given purpose. We call out the strength in you to build resilience in your children and your entire family. They will not succumb and faint in the face of life’s obstacles. We call out the power and strength in you to lead with uncompromising morality and integrity.
As we move through an increasingly complex and dynamic life landscape, embracing valor can set apart those who merely react to challenges from those who proactively shape their futures. In doing so Fathers can not just empower their families, but they can also create an enduring legacy built on resilience and integrity. Hey Fathers!! We are extremely proud of you! We believe in you! We expect greatness, because God has empowered you with greatness and value. So, go out there and be great, you might Man of Valor!!!
